Binding instruction for participating teams

Term of the event:

30th of March – 1st of April 2007

Místo konání:

Brno, Hokejová hala dětí a mládeže, street Střední, 602 00 Brno (in front of hotel Avanti)

Participants:

The Czech Republic championship in curling mixed is accessible for regular registered curlers who will have reached before or during the championship at least 15 years of age. Any team may participate in Moravian Open Curling Mixed, if the number of participating teams exceeds 36; the crucial is the sequence of applications.

Teams´ applications:

Teams´ application must be delivered by the 1st of March 2007 the latest for the attention of the secretary of the curling association. In case the application is not delivered by the above mentioned date, the team is excluded from further participating in this tournament!

Teams List of participants – participants of CR championship in mixed (only Czech curlers):

The List of each team must contain minimum of 4 curlers and must be sent for the attention of the secretary of the curling association by the 1st of March 2007 the latest. Each curler on the List must be regular registered member of the Czech curling association. Additionally each curler must have a medical examination! In case the List of participates does not contain 4 curlers with valid medical examination and is not delivered by the above mentioned date, the team is excluded from further participating in this tournament!

Teams List of participants – participants of Moravian Open Curling Mixed (all other nations):

The List of participating curlers containing minimum of 4 players will be submit before the first game of the tournament by the representative of the team.

Entry fee:

3 200,- CZK per team sent to Czech curling association account
Entry fee is also possible to be paid in cash at the treasury of the curling association.

(The fee includes Saturday party with banquet)

Term for the entry fee:

By the 1st of March 2007 the latest.
In case the entry fee will not be paid by the stated date on the account of the Czech curling association, there will be penalty charged in an amount of 500,- CZK per day until at 10 days before the beginning of the tournament. If the entry fee including penalty will not be paid by the 20th of March 2007 (i.e. 10 days before the tournament) participation of the team will be canceled.
In case the team will cancel its participation or withdraw from participating after the application has been sent in, the entry fee will forfeit of benefit to curling association.

Names of teams:

Teams, participants of CR championship in mixed (Czech teams only), will play under the name of the clubs which they enrolled to MČR and identification of the team is given by the skip of the team.

Medical examinations:

a) it is compulsory to all players
b) players who did not send in the medical examination within the scope of MČR 2006/07 of men and women, eventually MČR of Juniors 2007 will submit the examination at the secretariat of the curling association by the 21st of March 2007 the latest (such a medical examination must not be older than three months)
c) examination is valid only on special forms of curling association
d) it must be verified by a doctor
e) integral part of the examination endorsement is the declaration of doping
f) player without the endorsement is not allowed to play in this tournament
g) submitting of the medical examinations is abided by “the Rules of medical validation”

Stones draw:

Drawing loss of stones for each sheet will be done 30 minutes before beginning of the first game every day of the tournament (it will be done by the chief and assistant referee).

Chief referee:

Will be nominated by the Commission of referees of CCA

Organizers:

1. CK Brno, Gymnasium of Matyaše Lercha (GML), CK Valící se Šutráky, Czech curling association and RPK Brno.

Draw schedule:

It will be elaborated according to the number of participating teams (it will be announced to the clubs 7 days the latest before the beginning of the tournament). It will be publicize on the following web page: http:\\www.gml.cz/mixy. ATTENTION: team must enter the competition complete in other words with all 4 players. Teams must pass the whole game with 4 curlers until the very end of the game.

Schedule of the event:

For maximum of 20 teams, tournament will start on Saturday from circa 8:00 to 20:00. Sunday starts from 8:00 till 18:00.
For maximum of 36 teams, tournament will start on Friday from circa 13:00 till 21:00. Saturday from 8:30 till 19:30 and Sunday will start at 9:00 till 17:30.

Teams dress:

It is recommended to have united dress.

Party:

Is held on Saturday from 20:00 at GML, banquet, beer and wine are included in entry fee.
